A woman in Betul’s Songhati area committed suicide by hanging herself from the bathroom gate. She was in depression since her husband’s death a month ago.

On June 11, in Nandpur village panchayat located near the city, the mineral team and the revenue team seized 20 cubic meters of sand and gravel illegally excavated from the Bel river on government land adjacent to the village.
